Celebrating with Broccoli!

Hi collaborator,

I’ve got great news! One of my clients had a big win with her dog this week, and we want to celebrate with you! The last time we met, this client and her family and I collaborated to establish a plan for how to handle a visit from a friend who has not seen the dog in several years - and since then, the dog has developed a habit of mouthing and biting when overexcited. Here is what happened when the friend arrived earlier this week:

“[Our friend] arrived today and Broccoli did incredible! I am so damn proud of him. I used everything you taught us in the lessons and everyone listened to my directions and instructions, and I used what I learned from the workbook I tested, too, to ensure that everything I needed to say, “yes” was in place. I asked for extra time to prepare and I kept myself calm leading up to them arriving, which in turn meant that Broccoli stayed calm, too. I gave him and I a lil pep talk throughout the morning too. I kept my focus entirely on him and moved completely at his pace.
I knew we had it in us and your guidance and support has been hugely helpful to getting us here and I just wanted to let you know!”

Can you guess my favorite part of this celebration? It’s the part where the client says “I knew we had it in us…” That belief can be hard to access sometimes - especially when we are struggling and need support. Sometimes the barrier to getting the support we need, is a lack of belief that we deserve it. But you do deserve it! I know that whatever you and your dog are struggling with, you have it in you to succeed, and you absolutely deserve compassion, support, and whatever else you need to get there. I believe in you!

Coaching starts with a FREE Affinity Call!

An Affinity Call is a space for us to get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit for working together. When you book, I will send you a questionnaire that will give me information about you and your dog. This helps me know if I can provide the support you need, and allows me to be more intentional with the questions I ask during the call. During the call, you can also ask questions about my background, philosophy, process, or methods.

During this call, we will not assess your dog’s behavior or any recommendations or advice for reaching your goals (out of respect for my paying clients and the quality of my work, I don’t provide free or “quick” advice).
