Stop feeling lost and find your way home.

Human Canine Collaborative supports neurodivergent dog guardians in regulating their nervous systems while reducing reactive, anxious, or aggressive behavior in their dogs.

I imagine a relationship with dogs that begins with grounding in ourselves, a practice of introspective and embodied awareness that contributes to interspecies collaboration and collective wellbeing.

Good Words

Rachel & Gracie

I have been working with Sharon for about 6 months now, and appreciate her unique perspective as both an occupational therapist and a dog behavior professional. She approaches her work with a kind and generous nature, and has a beautiful ability to make her clients feel seen and heard.

She has a great way of reading the situation, and adapting each session to what is happening in the moment. I also appreciate how she shares her own experiences to make me feel like she genuinely understands. In our work together, we have addressed both dog behavior issues and my own personal struggles, and the connections between the two. Sharon has helped me develop a new set of tools to broaden my perspective and enhance my life.

Michelle & Milo

Sharon helped us understand the relationship between our own nervous system states and Milo’s, and helped us to communicate with each other better and set healthy boundaries.

She was able to offer advice on training that helped immensely and really flipped the switch on annoyances that have become sources of joy for our family. Our sessions felt like doggie therapy. She is someone I can talk to about what is going on with my dog and she listens and provides helpful feedback which was invaluable coming from someone with so much knowledge and experience.

Every issue I wanted to work on when we began working together is now resolved. I cannot endorse Sharon enough. I would work with her again in a heartbeat!

What I appreciate most about Sharon is her commitment to improving my relationship with my dogs, which goes beyond simply teaching commands.
